Workshop

Our maintenance manager along with his mechanical staff keeps the fleet running with the very minimum of down time. This is made possible by efficient fleet maintenance schedules, excellent skills and a can do attitude. Each truck combination and all the machines are greased and serviced regularly in the workshop or on site by our qualified maintenance staff under the supervision of the maintenance manager. The workshop has a brand new truck hoist and also a vehicle hoist for the twenty-four company vehicles we own. The equipment and expertise is available to carry out a wide range of service and engineering applications such as welding, machining, lathe and cutting, oxy acetylene, and tyre fitting. Bizalloy steel is used in our truck bodies and excavator buckets providing thicker than normal and exceptionally strong equipment. It is well suited to working with a tough product like granite or any other types of rock. The trucks drive lines are compatible across the fleet and all run heavy duty gearboxes and diffs. We also store on site a full range of filters and other service replacement parts. These procedures minimise down time and our customers enjoy error free rock retaining walls erected faster than any of our competitors.
